As part of Minerals South 2017, delegates will have a unique and possibly last opportunity to visit the Coal Mountain Operations near Sparwood, BC as it was supposed to have been shutdown at the end of Summer 2017.    The tour of the mine site (hosted by Teck), has been confirmed for for Friday, November 10th and departs from Cranbrook at 8:00 am on Friday morning and returning to Cranbrook at 3:30 pm Friday afternoon.   The cost for the field trip is $50.00.  Minerals South attendees can find information on registration for the field trip within the Minerals South Delegates package which can be downloaded HERE.
